Trixi Tassels, The Cancelled Series 2020 - Original 1/1 Fine Art Print (A3)
A one-of-a-kind original print, never to be reproduced.
This 2020 portrait of Trixi Tassels is the powerful first image from my acclaimed lockdown project The Cancelled Series. Captured on her front porch under the sun when she should have been on stage, it is one of my most visually arresting portraits from that era.
The Story : this image features the late, great performer Trixi Tassels, who sadly passed away from cancer in August 2023. Dressed for a stage that no longer existed, Trixi dances on her front porch under the sun. This piece now serves as a beautiful and powerful memorial, capturing the fierce resilience and luminous spirit of a beloved artist during the height of lockdown.
This specific print was part of the Art East’s opening show, "Ripple Effect," in May 2025, certifying its value as a historic piece of documentary art. This is the only A3 print (42 x 29.7cm) of this image available in the world.
Details : signed, dated (2020), and includes a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) guaranteeing its 1/1 status and full exhibition history.
Own the story of the show that wasn't, and the legacy of the artist.
