Cici Noir, bleeding in multiple exposures. With this photo we’re showing the uglier sides of femininity. Cici has endometriosis and has suffered most of her life, with her share of medical misogyny and negligence, to the point that she is now terrified of doctors.
We’re meant to trust doctors and put our lives in their hands because they’re definitely going to save us. But a lot of us, myself included, have dealt with enough to be unable to. You’d be surprised how many of us feel this way.
