On being non-binary and existing in unexplored territories.
Fiáin means “wild” in Irish. The title is in Gaeilge simply because Crystal Bollix is Irish.
Crystal came for a bath in February 2026, and we turned the bathtub into a bog. Why a bog? I’m not sure. Crystal is non-binary, sitting somewhere between labels and remaining unseen by most people, so maybe they live in foggy, wild woodlands? Who knows. Swamps are places not many people dare to explore, and they’re seen as a bad thing. But isn’t it wonderful to let nature take over? I wanted Crystal to feel truly themselves and free of labels and expectations.
Part of Baignade Interdite, a surrealist photography series shot entirely in a bathtub in North London by Pauline Di Silvestro.
Fine art A3 uncensored print. Limited edition of 5 copies only. £75.
Free UK shipping. EU shipping £10.
