Have Your Cake and Eat It Too | Baignade Interdite Limited Edition Print
On eating for pleasure, without shame.
One of my favourite sessions! Revolting Rosy absolutely destroyed a cake in the bath. Anthony Bourdain wrote that taking pleasure in food has always been associated with sin, and called cooking the purest and most unselfish way of giving pleasure (with one obvious runner-up). Nigella Lawson says she doesn’t approve of talking about food as naughty, and that we need to take our pleasures where we can in life. They’re both absolutely right.
So yes, we smashed a cake, because it’s fun.
Part of Baignade Interdite, a surrealist photography series shot entirely in a bathtub in North London by Pauline Di Silvestro.
Fine art A3 print. Limited edition of 5 copies only. £75.
Free UK shipping. EU shipping £10.
