On cultural differences.
Rosemary Stillborn and AJ Bravo, who run the Preach2Perv podcast, came with their own props. They had been working on an episode about tentacle erotica and the differences between sex cultures, and then came the idea of a “live action hentai”.
We explored the idea that penises were judged too offensive and replaced by tentacles in Japanese culture, while the same thing is judged disgusting in Western culture. We shot for about 30 minutes until the smell got too much and I had to call it a day. No octopus were harmed (it was already dead), just my nostrils.
Part of Baignade Interdite, a surrealist photography series shot entirely in a bathtub in North London by Pauline Di Silvestro.
Fine art A3 uncensored print. Limited edition of 5 copies only. £75.
Free UK shipping. EU shipping £10.
